Bowerman Blueberries Farm Market

We are having a GRAND OPENING celebration for our new farm market built this spring! It is on Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th of July! Red Kingman from WHTC Holland’s Hometown Radio Station will be doing a LIVE remote from the market Friday morning. Stop in to sign up for your chance to win a set of electric bikes or a set of kayaks from WHTC, The Van and Reliable Sport.

We will also have different in-house specials on produce until the products are sold out! We will have various samples of our specialty food items from local MICHIGAN businesses. These products include: blueberry mustards, deli-style pickles, Stone-house Artisan bread, scone mixes, muffin mixes, blueberry vinaigrette, and MUCH MORE!

We also have LOTS of fresh blueberries, melons, tomatoes, green beans, squash, sweet corn, lettuce, potatoes, onions and MORE!!

A new Farm Market building is currently in the works for the 2010 summer season! We will opening the week of July 4 with Blueberries, Raspberries, Vegetables and a new assortment of goodies. Pictures of the new buildings will be posted shortly.

Upick Strawberry Closed for 2009 Season

Last night we had temperatures of 28 degrees at the farm. We have also had multiple days of rain and quite a windstorm (on Monday 9/28/09), so between the cold temperatures and rain, we are closed for the 2009 season. Unfortuantely the strawberries are too delicate for the current weather conditions.

We are thankful for the beautiful September weather, so fortunately many visitors were able to come and pick lots of the beautiful, tasty strawberries. Until next year. Thank you! Bowerman’s Blueberries

U-Pick Strawberries in Sept & Oct?

Yes, that’s right, at Bowerman Blueberries in Holland, Michigan, you can pick your own strawberries on Mondays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

How is this possible? Bowerman Blueberries has grown more than 15,000 strawberry plants in an above ground, hydroponic feeding system that allows us to have fresh strawberries throughout the summer and on into September and October. During these last two months, we open two days a week for you to pick your own!

Come pick your own fresh, sweet, juicy red strawberries right from the plant–and since our berries do grow on trees (well, really, polystyrene towers), you don’t even have to bend over!
