

3 pounds sugar 1 pint diluted vinegar 5 pounds blueberries, cleaned spice bag 1 Tbsp. stick cinnamon 1 Tbsp. whole cloves 1 Tbsp. whole allspice
Make syrup of sugar, vinegar and spice in bag. Add berries to cooled syrup, heat slowly to simmering and simmer until done. Cool, let stand overnight. Remove spice bag, pack berries into jars, heat syrup to boil and pour over berries. Seal and store. |
